I was lucky enough to live in Paris while I attended Design School at Parsons. I lived in the 1st Arrondissement and while sometimes this area can get a bit busy with tourists, there is plenty to enjoy as a local. Perhaps my favorite gem in the 1st is the 17th Century Palais Royale Garden. Don't miss strolling along Rue Saint Honoré and visiting the many boutiques (including my favorite jewelry designer, Lisonia!) and Place Vendôme. Perhaps one of the best parts of Paris? The 'dog-friendly, bring your pup anywhere' culture!
